Our 60 tonne Travel Hoist is the North West’s favourite for launching and recovering off wagons for access to the Leeds Liverpool Canal or the short trip across the Mersey to the Weaver Navigation and on wards to the Shropshire Union and beyond. We offer full in house services for barges of all types and are specialists in fabrication, blasting, blacking, welding repairs, painting and full refits. As the northern dealers for MG Duff Anodes, we have extensive knowledge and success in protecting vessels from corrosion and electrolysis. Logs, coal, Calor gas, anodes, windlass/anti vandal/British Waterways keys, and all other supplies are available from our in house Chandlery.

Working with the largest builders in the UK for lifting and launching we usually have a boat launched in 20 mins and on average lift 4 vessels per week travelling to or from the canal systems via road transport.
